Your Role

As a Software Architect, you will play a key role in defining the technical direction of complex solutions, bridging software architecture with Solutions Architecture to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and value-driven technical solutions.

You will work closely with engineering teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders during discovery and solution design, helping determine the right architectural approach, integration patterns, workflows, and automation strategies. You will also provide technical guidance throughout implementation, ensuring that solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with business and technical objectives.

• Design and define software architectures for complex solutions, considering scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and integration requirements.

• Act as a Solutions Architect, translating business and technical requirements into practical architecture decisions and end-to-end solution designs.

• Collaborate with teams to design and implement efficient workflows using tools such as n8n or Retool, ensuring seamless integration between digital solutions and existing systems.

• Conduct technical assessments to determine whether a solution requires data processing, workflow orchestration, or the development of agent-based systems, selecting the most appropriate approach based on the requirements.

• Utilize and understand RAGs (Red, Amber, Green frameworks) and agent-based systems to evaluate solution approaches, establish technical direction, and enhance project outcomes.

• Lead and contribute to discovery and solution-design phases, identifying technical constraints, integration dependencies, risks, and opportunities for automation.

• Define and evaluate APIs, integrations, backend processes, and data flows, ensuring that different components work together effectively.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance in Python or Java, collaborating with development teams and contributing when necessary to validate architectural decisions or technical approaches.

• Evaluate technical alternatives and make architecture decisions based on performance, security, scalability, feasibility, and business value.

• Optimize application performance, ensure appropriate security measures, and design scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices.

• Communicate architecture decisions and complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients.

• Lead the creation and maintenance of technical and architectural documentation, ensuring decisions, integrations, workflows, and solution designs are clearly documented.

Who You Are

• 6+ years of experience in software development and/or software architecture, with significant experience designing technical solutions and working across different systems and components.

• Strong Solutions Architecture background, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and technically feasible solutions.

• Significant knowledge and hands-on experience with tools such as n8n and Retool.

• Strong background in workflow automation and system integration using modern programming languages such as Python or Java.

• Solid understanding of data handling techniques, APIs, integrations, and backend processes.

• Proven experience creating and managing agent-based systems, coupled with knowledge of RAG methodologies and their application within technical solutions.

• Experience evaluating different technical approaches and making architecture decisions considering performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and feasibility.

• Strong ability to participate in technical discovery, solution design, and discussions with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements into clear technical solutions and communicate them effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
