You should enjoy solving problems independently while collaborating closely with engineering and cross-functional teams.<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span><span><strong><!---->Responsibilities<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span></strong></span><span></span></p><ul><li><!---->Build and maintain internal platform capabilities that reduce the operational burden on product engineering teams.<!----></li><li><!---->Partner closely with engineering teams to evaluate and implement changes with consideration for their impact across products and users.<!----></li><li><!---->Support engineering teams adopting new operational practices, tools, and platform capabilities.<!----></li><li><!---->Troubleshoot infrastructure and operational issues and help teams find sustainable solutions.<!----></li><li><!---->Design and maintain secure cloud foundations, including IAM, secrets management, network controls, and compliance guardrails.<!----></li><li><!---->Take full ownership of projects and initiatives from design and implementation through production.<!----></li><li><!---->Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.<!----></li><li><!---->Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.<!----></li><li><!---->Work extensively with AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and cloud networking.<!----></li><li><!---->Use Python to automate processes and build tooling that improves platform efficiency.<!----></li><li><!---->Leverage modern AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to increase productivity.<!----></li><li><!---->Identify blockers proactively and resolve them independently.<!----></li><li><!---->Favor iterative delivery by shipping smaller, incremental improvements over large, high-risk releases.<!----></li><li><!---->Give and receive candid, constructive feedback and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.<!----></li><li><!---->Help define processes and best practices in areas where established approaches may not yet exist.<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span></li></ul><span><strong><!---->Required Qualifications<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span></strong></span><span><ul><li><!---->4+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps.<!----></li><li><!---->4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.<!----></li><li><!---->Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly AWS Organizations, account management, and IAM.<!----></li><li><!---->Deep hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Docker-based containerization.<!----></li><li><!---->Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.<!----></li><li><!---->Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform.<!----></li><li><!---->Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.<!----></li><li><!---->Proficiency in Python programming and automation.<!----></li><li><!---->Experience with cloud security fundamentals, including IAM, secrets management, network controls, and compliance.<!----></li><li><!---->Strong communication and collaboration skills.<!----></li><li><!---->Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in an ambiguous environment.<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span></li></ul></span><span><strong><!---->Nice To Have Skills<!----><span><br></span><span><br></span></strong></span><span><ul><li><!---->Experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability.<!----></li><li><!---->Exposure to Microsoft Azure.<!----></li><li><!---->Familiarity with Artifactory or other artifact management platforms.<!----></li><li><!---->Experience supporting multiple engineering teams through internal platform capabilities.<!----></li><li><!---->Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.<!----></li><li><!---->Experience establishing platform engineering practices and processes from scratch.<!----></li></ul></span><p></p><button><span>…show more</span></button><!----></div></div>
