This role works closely with engineering, product, and business teams to identify risks, validate functionality, and build automated tests that support confident releases. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, a strong understanding of API testing, and familiarity with performance testing, and is comfortable investigating issues across user interfaces, services, integrations, and data.<!----></p></span><span><p><span><strong><!---->Key Responsibilities:<!----></strong></span></p></span><span><ul><li><!---->Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript for web applications and critical business workflows<!----></li><li><!---->Create practical test strategies covering functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing<!----></li><li><!---->Test REST APIs, including authentication, request/response validation, error handling, and system-to-system interactions<!----></li><li><!---->Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements, improve acceptance criteria, and identify test scenarios early<!----></li><li><!---->Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and help establish meaningful quality checks for releases<!----></li><li><!---->Investigate test failures, troubleshoot defects, and document findings with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence<!----></li><li><!---->Improve test reliability by reducing flaky tests and maintaining reusable test utilities, test data, and environment configurations<!----></li><li><!---->Design and execute performance tests to evaluate response times, throughput, and application behavior under load<!----></li><li><!---->Use SQL to validate data and investigate issues across applications and integrations<!----></li><li><!---->Contribute to accessibility, cross-browser, and responsive design testing<!----></li><li><!---->Communicate release risks, test results, and quality trends to support informed decisions<!----></li><li><!---->Continuously improve testing practices, tools, and coverage based on customer impact and business risk<!----></li></ul></span><span><p><span><strong><!---->Key Requirements:<!----></strong></span></p></span><span><ul><li><!---->Hands-on experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or a related software development role<!----></li><li><!---->Experience writing and maintaining automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript<!----></li><li><!---->Solid understanding of TypeScript or JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, debugging, and maintainable code<!----></li><li><!---->Experience testing REST APIs using Playwright's API testing capabilities, Postman, or comparable frameworks<!----></li><li><!---->Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling<!----></li><li><!---->Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases<!----></li><li><!---->Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins<!----></li><li><!---->Understanding of test design, defect management, and risk-based testing<!----></li><li><!---->Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate issues across multiple systems<!----></li><li><!---->Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders<!----></li></ul></span><span><p><span><strong><!---->Desired, But Not Required Knowledge:<!----></strong></span></p></span><span><ul><li><!---->Experience establishing or improving an automation framework<!----></li><li><!---->Experience testing complex enterprise integrations, asynchronous processes, or event-driven systems<!----></li><li><!---->Familiarity with contract testing, service virtualization, and mocking<!----></li><li><!---->Experience using logs, metrics, and tracing tools to diagnose issues<!----></li><li><!---->Familiarity with accessibility standards and automated accessibility testing<!----></li><li><!---->Awareness of application security testing fundamentals<!----></li><li><!---->Experience testing customer portals, payments, billing, or other transaction-driven workflows<!----></li><li><!---->Experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools while reviewing generated code for correctness and maintainability<!----></li></ul></span><span><p><span><br></span></p></span><p></p><button><span>…show more</span></button><!----></div></div>
